SAVIA

In Spain, approximately one million professionals aged over 50 are unemployed, according to latest data from the Spanish Office of National Statistics (2018 Q1). Because of digitalisation, changes to the economic and social paradigms as well as the effects of a lengthy and serious credit crunch, this group of workers has been increasingly disconnected from the labour market. Randstad became employment partner to the SAVIA project to help them secure work opportunities.

SAVIA turns into a meeting point between senior professionals aged over 50, and organisations from the corporate and social fields that seeks to promote a cultural change.

’SAVIA provides a response to a social concern of people aged over 50 who wish to stay active on the labour market and provide all their experience and knowledge to extremely diverse projects”, explains María Viver, Director of the Randstad Foundation.
